Licensed English–Arabic Interpreter and Translator

The objective of The Role:

To provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation and translation services between Spanish and English, facilitating effective communication in professional settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate written materials between English and Arabic with accuracy and cultural awareness.
• Deliver high-quality consecutive and simultaneous interpretation in legal, medical, corporate, and public service settings.
• Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with professional standards.
• Adapt language and tone based on audience and context.
• Collaborate with clients, coordinators, and internal teams to support effective communication.
• Review and proofread translated content to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Canadian certification or license as a professional interpreter/translator (English–Arabic).
• Full fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in professional interpretation and translation.
• Strong understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with translation and interpretation tools is an asset.
• Availability for full-time or part-time work with flexible scheduling.
