Licensed English–Farsi Interpreter and Translator

The objective of The Role:

To provide accurate and professional interpretation and translation services between English and Farsi, ensuring clear communication across diverse settings while maintaining cultural sensitivity and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and culturally appropriate translation of written materials between English and Farsi.
• Perform high-quality consecutive and simultaneous interpretation across various professional environments, including legal, medical, and corporate settings.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and licensing requirements.
• Tailor language usage to effectively convey meaning and tone according to cultural and contextual nuances.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project success.
• Conduct thorough proofreading and quality assurance to ensure precision and consistency in all translated content.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Canadian interpreter/translator license for English and Farsi.
• Fluency in English and Farsi, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in interpretation and translation.
• Strong cultural awareness and communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with translation tools is a plus.
• Available for full-time or part-time work with flexible hours.
